Gate City will always have a good team as long as Nick Colobro and Barry Jones are walking the sidelines. Their tradition will not let them accept anything but the best and their kids work their butts off to kick yours.
With all that: it is hard to believe that any D2 team is ever going to bring it home as long as Gretna is around and that includes Powell Valley, Lebanon, Honaker and whoever else you want to throw in there.

thats true....but not their own people say they will be down usually..
haysi will have a hard time running the ball between the tackles they have a real lack of size but thats nothing new at haysi
the lack of size will hurt tham when it comes to running the ball inside and on defence stopping the run but the offense WILL put up some huge numbers
best QB in the region and a all state TE combined with several versitle backs and it will be an interesting season in haysi
the only D1 teams I think will be better are Clintwood and JIB and if some young players come along haysi could be very good just have to wait and see
there is not way i think haysi will be better then gate city or pv
all haysi will do this year will be go spread the whole time because they dont have a running back
That would be a real good point if GC or PV were D1.
